Thursday RPG fans will be able to get their hands on Fallout direct from GameTap. Now, this is a personal victory because I am a huge fan of replaying a series in order to prepare myself for upcoming releases, and if you're like me, you'll be logging into GameTap tomorrow to download your copy. I expect we'll see Fallout 2 and possibly even *crosses fingers* Wasteland in future months, which means those who haven't had the chance to experience RPG gaming post apocalypse will now get the chance.

So is GameTap compatible with 64-bit Vista? Kou and I were going to start a game this week, and then found out that Vista sucked too much at the moment to run them.
Yes, this will be fucking tremendous if I can actually run it on 64-bit Vista (with all the patches pre-installed, pretty please?)
Unfortunately the Sys Reqs are left blank on that page, so I would vote for the "try it and see" approach. As far as patches are concerned, I expect them to have an up-to-date download available after all this time.
Did you try forcing the games into 32-Bit XP Compatibility mode? If you right-click on the game's .exe file and select properties, it should be a choice under one of the tabs. I don't have Vista currently installed, but I used the Vista Beta extensively for a few months and, using this method, was able to get several games to work that originally didn't.
CRAP! I forgot to download it!
