At the tail end of a spectacular Sony E3 press conference came the announcement of a new MMO. MAG is a massive online battle, where player-populated squads fight it out on the front lines. This is the sort of thing that Tabula Rasa attempted to replicate, only failed miserably because the battle was populated by NPCs. Can a game work that's built entirely within a battlefield? Will MAG have the social elements that bind all successfull MMOs together? It intrigues me much, but I leave it up to you: does our definition of MMO include or exclude this game?

That looks VERY interesting. We thought the old Alliance/Horde fanboys were bad, I wonder what this'll be like. I'd also be interested to see what the monthly fee, if any, this comes with.
But full-on real-time MMO war? Heck yes.
