Good morning omgRPGers. It's Thursday, and I know I for one have my eye set on the weekend. With only two days to go, it's just a matter of getting through the workday, and what better way to do that they the latest WoW news.
* The Guild is now taking pre-orders for the DVD of their first season. If you haven't had a chance to catch this online series about people as obsessed with WoW as we are, I highly recommend you catch up quickly. Once you do, I think you'll agree it's definitely worth the 20 dollar price tag to own your own DVD, since it also includes gag reels, cast interviews, and commentary.
More WoW news after the jump.

* This morning the LA Times featured an article [] about married couples playing WoW together. The article features a couple who love the game to the point that "they've removed their dining room table and replaced it with an L-shaped desk capable of supporting two computers."
I must admit this is the same setup in the Mandifesto household. During the bleaker months of the last few years, WoW was the only entertainment we could afford, with 30 bucks a month being our complete budget for gaming, movies, etc. while we were living on little more than raman and love. Now that times are a bit less lean, we've grown accustomed to a living room that looks like a neverending LAN party setup, and I personally feel that gaming has made my relationship all the stronger. Also, no need for a VOIP system when your leveling partner is sitting next to you.
* A company named Novint announced this week that they are developing 3D touch software drivers for World of Warcraft. The WoW-specific drivers will be available later this year. The Falcon game controller allows users to feel game actions, objects, environment and force feedback. It's essentially a gaming robot that replaces your mouse. If you are as intrigued by this as I am, get ready to pay through the nose for the latest in gaming interaction. The Novint Falcon MSRP's at $189.99. For that price it better farm fire motes for me and come with the Cenarian Expedition Epic Flying Mount.
