It's the end of September, and big things for WoW players are just around the corner. Very soon Patch 3.0.2 will be here, introducing a new profession, new talents, and new content to the MMO of the century. And soon after, we will have BlizzCon, the yearly festival celebrating all things WoW. I say we start the celebration a bit early.

Announcing the WoW TCG Prize Package Giveaway. Not familiar with the trading card game brought to us by our friends at Upper Deck? Think Magic the Gathering meets Alterac Valley. This month we are giving away a whole goody box (there's too much for a bag) of trading cards. In order to win this awesome prize (I know I'm jealous) there are a few stipulations. First, your Gamepro account must be filled in with your most current information, and yes that includes your name. Secondly, you will need to comment on this article, using the following format:

"If I were to put one WoW character on a trading card, it would be..." and fill in the blank with your suggestion for a character to add to the TCG lineup.

So the only way to win a contest is to give Gamepro my full legal name, address, and links to any social networking sites? Down with Big Brother!

 

No, you also would have had to submit a response within the span of time required, and in the format listed above. But alas, if such is too much "limitation from the man" for you, then I guess someone else will reap the rewards of homogonization with the collective that is Gamepro.

 

Orwellian reference aside (that was a joke), I don't think watching my own back equates me to some coffeehouse revolutionary. I'd be more forthright with my personal information if "the collective that is Gamepro" illustrated exactly what they will or won't do with it in the Terms of Service Agreement.

Aside from that, the thought of anyone else who commented caring that I unqualified myself is laughable. It's unlikely these cards would ever so much as escape their wrappings were I the winner, why should I damper the odds of someone getting it who actually has a passion for them? However since you insist...

If I were to put one WoW character on a trading card, it would be Mandifesto. You think she's going to toss in some support through a Fort or maybe an HoT, but then she just tries to melt your face.
